Better progress feedback during async operations
The lack of feedback on long operations is easily the biggest gripe we have about GitKraken. It's routine that GitKraken is gone for 30 seconds to a minute, especially using Git LFS, where there's no feedback that a background operation is in progress, besides the push/pull buttons being grayed out.
GitKraken needs better async feedback across the board. I have many times ended up force-quitting GitKraken because I didn't know if it had crashed. And sometimes, it has indeed crashed, which is only clear after 5 minutes of waiting for it to come back.
It's objectively bad UI design to have long-running and *blocking* async operations with essentially no feedback. The only feedback you get is (A) a couple of buttons are grayed out, and (B) half the UI can't be clicked. That is objectively insufficient.
We're begging you to deal with this.
