Show the recent commit message for quick access

I came from Tortoise SVN and it was easy to access our last commit messages. Sometime I need exactly the previous one because of a repetitive task and often I just need a small modification to the message. It's also useful to follow a template.

+1 This is a huge time saver when doing repetitive tasks that benefit from history. I'd also suggest "Right click -> Paste Last Commit Message" in the commit message area.
