Allow configuring a proxy in GitKraken UI
Currently the proxy in Linux to use a proxy is "you will need to run GitKraken Client with the command line flag: --proxy-server=10.200.0.1:8080". Add support for a proxy in the GUI. Ideally, there is a button to enable/disable the proxy, so one can switch easily depending on the environment.

Nicholas HolmesI'm adding my original feedback here to help support this request:

I've used 'http.proxy' to great effect here but its clear that all of the integrations supplied in this tool are not proxied. This leads to a very poor user experience. I get frequent and repeated errors that are seemingly attached to the fetching process afaict. If full proxy support is off the table please add a way to disable the integration "updates" so that I don't get flooded with red modals. I'd rather open a browser than wait for 3-4 red boxes to disappear on every interaction with the remote.
Thanks

In summary, git interactions are proxied by way of git config but not in the UI. Successful interactions with git result in a litany of errors not related to the performed action (i.e. push/pull, etc). This results in a poor user experience. -

Marvin MassihIt would be really helpful if you could at least use the system proxy settings under Windows. For example, right now I am in an airport and the wifi is blocking connections to GitHub. I have a SOCKS proxy (SSH tunnel) set up, but Gitkraken is ignoring it.

Matthias BuhlSame here. Would be great if this feature could be added.
