Easy way of creating patches between branches

With the latest version (8.7.0) creating patches between commits is supported. This is a great feature!
I can create patches between branches by selecting the HEAD commits of each branch and select "Create patch". However, it would be beneficial if it would be possible to create patches between branches by just selecting two branches from the sidebar and create a patch then. This would be much quicker than finding the HEAD commits in the main section of GitKraken.
