Provide option to stop loading a diff if it takes too long
I have some large JSON metadata files that, when resolving merge conflicts, cause the diff view in GK to load until it crashes.
I know that the "mark as resolved" button effectively eliminates this, but when I'm going through several merge conflicts, it's easy to forget, doubleclick the marked file, and then crash my GK. Maybe a "File is too large to load diff..." or allowing the checkboxes in the split diff view to function regardless of if the diff is loaded?

Kindler ChaseYes please!
In addition, include some type of filter that says: "Never load these files/file types in the diff tool".
For example, there are some cases where a 3rd party dll needs to be included in source control. When selecting the dll (or exe, etc..) in the unstaged field, the diff view takes forever to load. The preference would be to simply not load specific files/file types in the GitKraken diff view.
I'd even recommend something as configurable as a .gitignore file. Let's call it ".gitkraken-ignore". -

Frank SeverinsenPerhaps some optimization to the diff algorithm.
I sometimes experience I can't pick between the 2 versions before have finished loading (which might end up in a crash
