Add more ways to open submodules
Make it easier to navigate submodules.
- Currently there exist a "Open submodule: <submodule name>" button for unstaged submodules that are dirty (in the sidebar). If the submodule isn't dirty, the button is removed. My suggestion is to add that button regardless of the submodules state.
- Add a Ctrl-P command for opening a submodule, similar to the "Open Repo" command.
- Add a drop down to select/change a submodule in the top left. In the same region as it's possible to change the repository and branch.

ChristianWould like to add: an option to double click on the submodule to open it.
I have to open a submodule multiple times a day, double clicking would be easier than rightclicking. It currently opens the editing window but you don't use that every day. -

PaulI'm totally with Christian. A double click option would be so nice. I think its more common that a dev enters the submodule instead editing their remote URL or other stuff.
