Filtering by author

As a user, I would like to be able to filter commit list by author using more complex expressions in order to focus better on relevant commits.

It would be great if the filtering by author capability would allow for more complex criteria:
- negation of selected criteria
- a regular expression
As an example where this helps - in our organization we use a service account to perform automatic commits of certain types. It helps during code review or change analysis to be able to isolate all other commits, or be more sophisticated in filtering the displayed commits to focus on

I can't tell you how many times I've wished I could filter by author. Please add this.

Id also like to do this from a Workspace point of view, so I can search by commits across several repos.
