Hide merged commits
Hello,
As a user, I would like to be able to hide merged commits in order to more easily see previous commits on the branch.
I really wish GitKraken could hide merged commits from the view, like git does when using ''--first-parent".
In the attached screenshot, I'm soloing a branch, but I have to scroll down hundreds of merged commits until I can find the previous commit before the merge.

MagnusI would second that. What would be even more awesome would be to see a summary line with the number of commits that were merged into the first parent and be able to expand/hide those merged commit groups individually, like in a folder structure (a la finder/explorer). Like virtual squashing, but where you could unsquash when you need to examine a the merged branches.

MikeWhile trying out multiple desktop git clients for my team, this feature was a high priority that I was sad to see missing in GitKraken, which otherwise had the best UI of the bunch.
In a "merge --no-ff" workflow, this option is the only sane way to get an overview of changes in the trunk branch. -

VladThat feature, if implemented, would be very and very convenient.
Also, for now, you can click on the first parent commit hash (located in the commit details pane) to jump to the parent commit bypassing all the merged commits. -

Niklas Arens MergedHello, in the graph view I would like to have an option to collapse merges, which should hide all the commits that are not referenced by a branch anymore. E.g. in the case shown in the screenshot all the commits that are merged into the branch where HEAD points to should not be visible anymore after collapsing that merge commit.
Sublime Merge does a good job with that, if you need an example. -

Axel Heider MergedThat feature would be useful for me also.

Trevor Admin"Collapse merge commits in the graph view to hide all commits that were merged" (suggested by Niklas Arens on 2022-11-02), including upvotes (3) and comments (1), was merged into this suggestion.

Aaron DakeClicking the parent commit link in the comments section is nice, but sometimes the parent is a merge commit, as well. It would be super clean and easy on the eyes to see only commits made to a branch and not all the merge clutter. I would presume that "soloing" a branch by default would only show one branch in the graph, and not every branch and commit that got merged in.
