Add advanced options for merge and rebase

I recently wanted to preserve merges during a rebase which was not doable with the GUI. Note that although --preserve-merges is deprecated, --rebase-merges is not.

I found in general that only a few options are available for rebasing/merging. I believe I read another ticket about rebase --onto
