Add option to always show the diff view

Currently, when I inspect the contents of different commits, I always have to close the diff view before I can select the next commit. Scanning through the contents of different files in different commits is tedious. In other tools, e.g. SourceTree, the diff is always visible.
Thus I would welcome an option to have the diff view always being visible, e.g. pinned below the tree view and resizable.
