Do a soft reset when amending a commit
As a developer, when I want to amend my latest commit, when I click on the "amend" checkbox, I can only:
- change the commit message
- add new files (or lines) to the commit
But I can not remove a file (or a code portion) that was committed by mistake.
Running a `reset --soft HEAD~1` externally does the job, but this does not put the commit message back into the form, ready to be edited.
It would be nice if GitKraken actually made a soft reset under the hood when clicking on the "amend" checkbox, to be able to fully edit the commit content.

Lyndon GingerichWould your issue be resolved if a soft reset added the commit message back into the form, as you say?

Julien TardotYes, that would fit the use case.
It would also be a nice generalization applicable to any commit in the history 👍
