Ability to use a dropdown list of tabs
I wish there were a better way to access my open repos tabs using a mouse.
Nowadays with the popularity of microservices, it's required to work with dozens of repos simultaneously. Just see how my opened repos look on 35'' ultra wide monitor.
- I wish there were a separate mode for displaying tabs with full names and a drop down list of tabs that doesn't fit on the screen! A dropdown button can go before the New tab button similar to MS Visual Studio tabs management.
- I wish the View\favourites menu would display the full names of the favs repos!
Thank you!

Babo105 MergedUsing GitKraken width a lot of repos a tab bar of opened repos can be overcrowded. Just open 30 repos. With 30 tabs, you can see just the first letter of the repo. So I suggest to create a view on the left/right, which can be a floating panel or something, and it can contain a treeview. The tree could be build up by the user, creating groups etc. The repos were the leafs of the tree.
So then you could handle more repos in one time.
At this moment, I had to create a workspace in VisualStudioCode, so I can view all the 30-40repos in one place under each other, and I can see small pictograms where I need to pull and merge. But VSCode Git view does not works well in some cases, so I need to go to GitKraken and open and close repos... I hope you can feel the same pain as I do. -

Giacomo Zanotti Admin"Repo treeview on the left side instead of "Repo tabs on the top of the window"" (suggested by Babo105 on 2021-07-15), including upvotes (1) and comments (0), was merged into this suggestion.

Matthew MartinThe UI for repo names is to show as little as 1 or 2 letters. If repos don't start with a different letter then I can't tell them apart. When I have a lot of repos open, you can't see anything except maybe 1 or two letters and ...
Mouse over takes a lengthy wait to see what is there (and you get full path not the name of repo)
Clicking thru all the tabs takes 1+ seconds for each tab switch, so searching tabs that way is slow.
So I end up having to close all the tabs and then re-open the most urgent 4 or 5 until I can read the names of the repos anymore.
So first off get rid of the ... - I could read 3 more letters in space you wasted on a useless ellipse.
A drop down would help, but really, any UI affordance that allows me to select from a list of 15+ tabs would help.
(I suppose I could try to memorize the location of each repo, but re-opening puts the repos in a different order) -
